3 round tables were organized as part of the track: "1.5 years since issuance of Decree No 250. What's turned out to be good", "The domestic information security market. Is there enough of everything?" and "Attacks on contractors. What must be done on both sides?"
Valentin Bogdanov, General Director of USSC, Evgeny Gurari, Assistant to Plenipotentiary Representative of RF President in the Ural Federal District, Mikhail Ponomarkov, Minister of Digital Development and Communications of Sverdlovsk Region, Denis Volkov, Minister of Digital Development of Voronezh Region, took part in discussions of changes occurred since issuance of RF President's Decree No. 250.
Valentin Bogdanov, General Director of USSC:
"There is no doubt that President's Decree No. 250 has had a significant impact on ensuring information security processes in our country, it highlighted those activities, which implementation is of paramount importance. It can be noted that the decree highlights the main focus areas and enables organizations to concentrate their efforts on key requirements. As per the decree, responsibility for information security is directly assigned to TOP management of organizations. As a result, information security has become perceived as the most important system, and risks which are associated with it as the key ones."
All section participants came to the conclusion that the Decrees of RF President in the field of information security serve as catalysts for action. Thus, import substitution and digital independence are now reality, not a "paper" requirement.

When hacking attacks on contractors' systems were discussed as part of the final round table "Attacks on contractors. What must be done on both sides?", representatives of the largest IT companies in Russia spoke about the ways to check contractors in terms of information security, they also told how to make sure that SOC which monitors contractor's systems is protected itself and hackers will not get into it, as well as how to protect from threats "arriving" via dynamic load/dependent libraries. During the discussion, experts came to a unanimous conclusion that attacks are not excluded even when switching to domestic software. Attackers have quickly reoriented, and every day after an undetected hacking attack is exposed to significant financial losses.
