07/09/2020 – Moscow, Russia. JSC «R-Telecom Holding» (Dom.ru trademark owner) and USSC are proud to announce successful operation launch for the new Data Center, designed to become a core node for information processing and storage.
Maintaining interoperability between the Data Center infrastructure and specialized telecom equipment has become one of the project key features. Due to specific power requirements for the installed equipment (48VDC power) the Data Center power subsystem was designed to accommodate inverters and rectifiers as well as 1000 Ah 2V extra-capacity batteries and 48VDC rack distribution panels.
R-Telecom Data Center project had quite a few specific requirements and site limitations that we had to keep in mind. This task required nonstandard approach from all project team members during both design and construction phases, – mentions Oleg Sidorov, head of USSC Data Center Engineering Infrastructure Department.
